It’s patio season, y’all! One of the best ways to enjoy our beautiful weather is to take your meal outside at one of Nashville’s fantastic restaurant patios. Here are our favorites, from beer gardens to Victorian hideaways.

OG TailGate Brewery in Bellevue has an expansive patio — with covered and uncovered areas — serving alcohol and pizza by the slice. Kids love to play on the brewery’s giant hill; I’ve run up and down it chasing after my daughter too many times to count 😅

The Pharmacy in East Nashville has a delightfully cozy patio area with lots of greenery and shade. While best known for burgers, I personally prefer the bratwurst. It’s been around for decades — I remember hanging out here as a college student!

Urban Cowboy is so cool! It’s a public house, wine parlor, and hotel, inside an 1898 East Nashville Victorian mansion. The patio area is magical, especially with the string lights on at night. Roberta’s provides pizza.

Nashville's Best New Restaurants of 2025 (So Far)

This Donelson Mexican favorite has a huge patio and green space, perfect for kids and community events. They serve all three meals — including all-day breakfast — and have extensive hours, so no matter your schedule, you can likely find time to hang out on their patio.

Another Mexican spot with a great outdoor area is East Nashville’s El Fuego. Eat in the greenhouse or the patio with a stage for live music.

Streetcar Taps won for best patio in the Nashville Scene’s 2024 awards! This West Nashville pub right across from Richland Park encloses and heats the patio during winter, but now that the weather is nice, it’s entirely outdoors, with lots of greenery and seating.

While all five of M.L. Rose’s locations have great patios, we particularly like the one in the Nations, just a few blocks down from Streetcar. There are yard games, a golf garden, porch swings, and a fire pit.

Nashville's Best Happy Hours, Cheap Eats, and Early Bird Specials

If you’re craving Italian, Pastaria in Midtown’s oneC1TY has a gorgeous patio surrounded by greenery and twinkling lights. Happy hour is every day from 5-6 p.m.

🧑‍🦰 Redheaded Stranger

Grab a taco or brisket and chill at a picnic table at East Nashville’s Redheaded Stranger, now open until 10 p.m..

This Green Hills kitchen has healthy meals and ample outdoor patio seating. I love eating here because of the extensive gluten-free and vegetarian options.

🧺 Or maybe you’d rather head outside for a picnic!
