A First-Hand Account of the ICE Detainments in South Nashville
On Sunday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement partnered with the Tennessee Highway Patrol to make as many as 150 traffic stops in South Nashville, leading to the detention of between 40-100 people who were subsequently bused out of town amid protests. Brenda Pérez, an organizer with The ReMIX TN, sits down with host Marie Cecile Anderson to give her first-hand account of what happened, and where we go from here.
