It’s about that time of year when I start eyeing all the plants in various containers on my porch and thinking about how I’m going to move them inside when it gets too cold. Some of my indoor plants froze during the January ice storm (doesn’t that seem like it was a long time ago?). But my neighbor kindly gave me some of her pilea peperomioides (money plants), and I organized a Master Gardeners of Davidson County plant swap for some others. I’m going to splurge on a few new plants when the days grow shorter and grayer.
