🗳️ Vote!

Vote in the Nov. 5 election! Make sure you know where to vote, who’s on the ballot, and what the transit referendum is all about. Shout out to all the poll workers! Y’all are great!

🦃 Preorder Thanksgiving Dinner

Why cook when you can support local businesses by preordering your Thanksgiving dinner? Here are some of our favorites. Warning: They sell out fast.

  • Monell’s: Their Thanksgiving feast serves 2-3 people and includes slow-roasted turkey, sweet potato casserole, and corn pudding.
  • Loveless Cafe: You get lots of choices with Loveless Cafe’s Thanksgiving meal. I recommend the hashbrown casserole and chess pie.
  • Shotgun Willie’s: Getting Thanksgiving dinner at a BBQ place might seem odd, but this place offers smoked turkey and all the classics: Turnip greens, cornbread, pumpkin pie. It’s delicious.
  • The Catio Lounge: Okay, this isn’t a preordered feast. Instead, preorder tickets for a Thanksgiving dinner with 67 cats, and support a fantastic nonprofit!
