When I was a teenager, prom dresses cost $50-$150, but nowadays, they can easily cost $750-$1,000+! If you don’t want to spend a fortune on a prom outfit your child will wear for a single night, here are some affordable options in Nashville.

- Operation Fairy Godmother 2025 will be at the Martha O'Bryan Center on March 28-29 giving away free prom dresses by appointment.
- Many MNPS high schools have free prom dresses and tuxes for their students. Ask at the office.
